there is a very good website at http://www.nursingadvocacy.org that deals with image problems in nursing. you should be able to get info from there. you may want to do some research about what nurses actually do. most people don't understand that nursing is a separate discipline from medicine and that nurses practice independently of doctors, i.e. we don't just sit around waiting to be directed to do things. research also the role of advanced practice nurses and their role in the health care profession.
