Because I'm not tele or ACLS (although I'm taking ACLS in two weeks), I have a challenging time locating non-tele M/S assignments. However, when it rains, it pours. I was offered three contracts this past week. One was in FL and this is the WRONG time to be in FL. So, I declined. The other two are in Northern Cali and Upstate NY. The NoCal offer came two days before the Upstate NY offer, which I greatly prefer. Since I haven't signed on the line for the NoCal offer, would a professional e-mail to my recruiter declining the offer be appropriate. I DON'T want to burn a bridge, but traveling cross country, when I have a much closer option, doesn't make sense. Thoughts?!?!?!

You haven't accepted the position or signed a contract yet, so there is no obligation to take the position. However, I think a phone call to the recruiter, explaining that your circumstances have changed and you can no longer move so far from home, would be more professional than an email.
I agree, Ashley. Thank you. : )
