For the practice pcs scenarios, one of the assignments is meds. For meds the only documentation is when you sign on the mar for it correct? No narratives necessary. Right?? Thanks!

Correct, but say like the pt asks you about one of the meds, you can write a note under "other" like "Patient inquired about side effects of Lipitor, informed patient about main side effects including to notify nurse if they develop severe muscle aches, patient verbalizes understanding". I remember reading in Lunah's journal that when she gave Lovenox the pt stated they did not feel it at all, so she made a note about that too. I think anything extra wouldn't count against you, always better just to CYA. :-)
