Questions on timing

For those who have been there, done that --

1) -- how long after you qualify to take the CPNE did you ACTUALLY have to wait for your application? (I know, they 'say' 4-6 weeks')

2)--how long after sending in your application for CPNE before you actually received the date? Did you get a choice in specific dates?

I'm not going to ask about the testing itself, I know it varies from site to site (and I already know the NY sites which are probably closest seem to be quickest).

But.

3) If you signed up to be on a cancellation list, and got called, how much notice before the test did you get? Can you refuse and stay on the list (I'd like to go early if possible but likely wouldn't be ready without 2-3 weeks notice, especially since our work schedule is like a month ahead of time!)

Thanks.
