Questions about HFCC

U.S.A. Michigan

Hoping someone can share some updated information since most of the HFCC threads are a few years old. What times are clinicals being held? Days? Times? I read in one thread that they were some people being stuck with weekend clinicals. Just curiuos if this is still an option. Also, do you start going to clinicals during your first semester? One more thing about clinicals, how are they assigned or chosen?

Additionally, has anyone heard when the new students will need to take AH 120 or it's new equivalent? It used to be a co-req, but this past semester we were informed that another class would be required for nursing program students.

Thanks in advance!

I am in the low 100's on the list and am hoping to get in this fall. I was told from this point on we will take pharmacology concurrently with our clinicals and if you already took pharmacology you still have to take it again in clinicals. I was also told that there were not any significant changes in the curriculum aside from minor updates. I don't know how they give out clinical spots but I am very interested in that too. Depending where you live some of the clinical sites can be a long drive.

Aznurse2baz! You need to check your email/hawkmail. You must be in because I got in on an application, I wasn't even on the list.
