Question on writing a nursing school essay

Nursing Students School Programs

Hello, within the past few years I have made the decision to go into nursing school. I've always had a huge passion for caring for people and have a lot of personal background being a patient. While I know being a patient and being the professional are two very different things, I still have my mind set on attending MCCN. The application for this school requires and essay and the two prompts that I have gravitated towards are

1.) "Elaborate on characteristics of an excellent health care professional"

2.) " Share your career plans or future goals after you graduate from MCCN."

I have outlines completed for both prompts but I am having an extremely hard time putting my ideas into an essay draft. I don't want to sound like I am just turning the question around and like I didn't put a lot of effort into the essay, but I just have no clue as to how to start this. My goal is to work somewhere in the Pediatric Nursing field. I will be a first year student in the fall so I don't exactly know the specific field within Pediatric Nursing that I would like to go into. I am hoping MCCN will help define that for me. If someone could please help me with starting this essay it would be greatly appreciated!! The essay has to be a minimum of 300 words

I would go with the first one probably because its more general and you have more to go off of such as safety, knowledge, passion etc. If you do the second make sure you know the values of your schools program and how its achieved ex. skills lab, clinical hours, focus on leadership? and mention that in your esssay.
