Question about union and being suspended

Published

This is a very complicated situation, so I will try to make a long story short...I was recently suspended, as there was supposedly a card of missing narcotics, and I was the primary suspect...even though they have no evidence. Another co-worker of mine was also recently suspended, about a month after me, for not telling a cna to make a residents bed, during state inspection.I feel this is of interest, because She and I were going to attempt to get a union started, and I'm sure that it got back to the administrator. This is a new administrator, who I just found out, got into some hot water, back in 1994,for firing & threatening employees for basically the same thing--trying to establish a union. So now I am in a situation where I have to clear my name, and expose this whole mess. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks!!

If you truely feel that you were suspended for union activity or attempts at union activity you need to contact the NLRB in your area.

National Labor Relations Board

There are several issues, and while I am only hearing your side of the story... I suggest that you contact the NLRB ASAP.

thank you for your reply, that was going to be my next step--I guess that I just had to get over the initial shock of the situation. I really appreciate your input!
