Question about school and pre-employment physicals

Does any school entrance physical have titers tests or wont the hospital prior to clinicals or pre employment hiring do the VDRL and catch a situation like genital herpes? I am new to this field but curious after reading several posters who work in the industry and have stuff including HIV. I figured it would be a check prior to employment offers does anyone have any experience with this at all. I mean what does the school physicals and pre employment physicals consist of just checking for shots or what?
