question regarding extended 4.5 yr diploma.

Hi all,

First post so please be gentle!

I was due to start my nursing diploma in January 2009. However My partner was caught having an internet affair and I have now been left a single parent!

I have transfered onto the 4.5 year diploma course which will give me the school holiday off. All I know so far is that the hours are slightly less and i will have some consideration given for placements. I understand that I will be on 6 week placements which at times may involve night shifts.

I am hoping that someone may be able to advise me how they found coping with the course and having children. What times to night shifts start and finish?
