Hey everyone! I had an OR clinical today and missed my usual med/surg rotation for the day. My instructor assigned me a patient for tomorrow and gave me a printout of the nursing rounds report for my patient so I can get started on my care plan and learn as much as I can about my patient. Here's my question: The emergency department admitted this patient and gave him a medical diagnosis of "CD:AC on chronic renal insufficiency". I have looked everywhere online and can't seem to find out what this medical diagnosis is. This is difficult for me to figure out since I haven't met the patient yet. If anyone has any insight as to what that is, it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!
