Question for LPNs who are moms and in bridge school

Once your actually in your program, how easily do you feel it would be to work part time?

I am finishing up pre-reqs with a 4.0 so not a stranger to hard work but after seeing that the bridge program I should be starting in July started with 40 students and now only has 11 students, I am wondering if I am being unrealistic about working part time with having 3 children under 7 as well.

I should note that I have finished all of my pre-reqs and co-reqs so I will have no additional classes other than nursing to take. I know difficulty can range from school to school so this isn't a one answer fits all but for comparison this is a community college bridge program attached to an university and is known to be your typical hard as hell nursing program :).

Right now I work PRN in LTC and it works great. I love my co-workers and I work generally 2-6 shifts a month. My husband and I set up before this (I worked full time up until 6 months ago) that I did not have to work during the rest of school if I didn't want to.

Then situation I am having trouble deciding on is that my old supervisor called me and has asked me to come work for her in early 2016, part time. It's in the field I am most familiar with and excelled at, I just had to leave because PRN isn't an option. It's one of those rare nursing companies that no one ever leaves and raves about. It's really hard to get hired there without knowing someone.

But nursing school comes first so want to hear what my fellow LPNs have experienced.
