QCC Nursing fall 2021

Hi! 

I just applied to the QCC nursing program for the fall 2021 semester and I was wondering if anyone has gotten in before? how long do they take to give you an interview?

I did, I actually had my interview on the 29th. it was a group interview with 5 other candidates and two professors. It took them like two weeks after I applied to send me the invite though. I applied the first day it opened.

You are lucky I haven’t heard back from them, like you I applied on the very first day.

Oh thats so weird. I know they reached out to me about my co requisties before they emailed me for an interview. I thought that was weird. did you take all your pre-recs and stuff?

On April 12th they emailed me requesting that I resend them one of my documents because it was not clear enough. I haven’t heard from them since. I have taken all of my classes currently finishing up microbio.

It's May 25... has anyone gotten any response from the dept yet?

I had spoken to the department last week and they said once they get the grades from this semester (so probably tomorrow) theyll start sending out letters. I'm checking my email all day today though.

I wish I had created this account and asked sooner.. would have saved me some stress yesterday. I know my micro grade won't be up until tomorrow.. I still have the final tonight (wonder if any of my classmates are on this thread). My other class finished over the weekend... 

I hope we both get accepted. At my interview, the professor had said that we would definitely get an email and/or snail mail.

No problem! the only reason I spoke to the department is because of BI 311. I wasnt able to get into the Summer session up until yesterday. They really wanted me to get in the class before the program so hopefully thats a good sign. I have my BI 102 exam tonight so hopefully we both pass! If you hear back let me know! good luck! ☘️
