Pursuing CRNA after a few years in the OR?

I've been in the OR for less than a year as a new grad and I truly love it. I'd like to pursue CRNA one day, but maybe a little later in my life than I initially thought. I know the OR is not the place to start if you want to become a CRNA, but I like the environment for myself as I'm getting my feet wet in a truly remarkable place. I have heard of some people going to CRNA school in their mid 30s and I think that may be what I want to do. My hospital educator advocates for nurses to continue growing their career here, whether it be managerial, education, grad school, etc (taboo usually, I know! Though they're truly supportive)

Are there people who started in the OR and left after years to pursue a career in CRNA? Has anybody gone the OR -> PACU -> ICU -> CRNA route?

Thanks in advance!
