Purdue RN to BSN

Hi! I'm getting ready to register for Purdue's RN to BSN online program. I'm still unclear on what the clinical component ACTUALLY looks like. 

My advisor said it's basically a care plan project. Are you actually needing to be hands on with a patient? Or just using medical records?

Can anyone give me more details on this? And any other experiences with the program...
