This is my first post and would really apreciate a very smart nurse to help me by instructing me on where I can go to find teaching handouts. Thank you. Josh

First, ask yourself why you need a handout. What are you teaching that the learner needs to have in writing, to refer to later? (Paper doesn't teach; people do.)
Then, a good source is the government site Medline Plus. Much information is clearly presented and illustrated.
Another possibility is to hand the learner a pen and paper, and have him or her take notes while you teach.
Good luck!

The last hospital I was at had a MicroMedics program. I'm not sure how to access it outside of the institution, but maybe a Google search would yield results. Good luck!
