Psychiatric nursing - job description

I'm an LPN recently hired to work in a psychiatric treatment center. (inpatient) I have been an LPN for only a few years. My previous experience consist of working in a non-hospital drug rehab. I would like to hear from psychiatric nurses, describing a typical day on the job. What can I expect? I do have some experience working with dual diagnosed patients. I also have a sibling with schizophrenia. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.Thanks!
