Hi Everyone!
I'm currently over a month and a half into being without a job. I have about a little over 6 months of nursing experience. One of the main issues that I've been running into is that many of the smaller hospitals in my area (LA/OC) are taken up my major organizations like Providence and Dignity Health. Dignity Health already had informed me during an application interview with one of the hospitals that my less than a year experience won't cut it due to the specific union rules. I see providence and kaiser jobs requiring a year of nursing experience - are they both as strict with that rule?
I really need a job because I have bills to pay, so I don't have the luxury of waiting for another residency position. I feel like I'm running out of hospitals haha. If I could just open up either kaiser or providence, that would open up the opportunities tremendously!
