I'm a sophomore nursing student currently in Iowa but am looking into transfering to Louisiana. I just want some feedback from others who know more about this. I really don't want to transfer if it means I have to remain in school for longer than a year after my anticipated graduation date of May 2014. I just don't believe it would be worth it. But if I find out I am able to transfer and graduate a semester earlier than the required "8 semesters" then I feel it may be worth it. But what specifically are the pros and cons of graduating half way through the year. Would I be able to take the nclex exam soon after graduating? Is the job market any better or worse during this time? I'm just needing some advice and guidance here before I make this MAJOR life decision!
