Call your bon, they may have a problem completing your background check or paperwork. 2 nclex passees (?) in my residency have been waiting a few weeks for theirs to be sorted out.
Depends on your area, my school takes some LPN's in Spring of the first year but it depends on available seats. Only about 75% make it to RN. Unfortunately the LPN is being phased out in the major med centers so there are not as many jobs anymore.

Psych was my favorite clinical even though it was not what I wanted to do. We did our rotation at a womens prison and had the best time. My favorite experience was a peds preceptorship which showed me what I wanted to do when I graduated.

I think that the Saunders questions are much different and easier than the NCLEX while Kaplans are closer. Try Mosbys book too, I saw one NCLEX question almost identical in their book.
Try the NCLEX board under student nurse forum. I think there have been a few that ran out of time, most failed but not all. It ain't over til you hear that fat lady singing though.
I just started my first hospital job, RN residency!! I am orienting with 3 weeks of classroom with alternative clinicals then we do 3 rotations to different units before going to our home unit. Anyone else doing a residents program?
In NC they just asked for a drivers license and the ATT. Double check your appt time especially if you did it online as there was a guy turned away when I was there. Apparently he said up the time but did not click confirm, he was sick about it but h...
My test was very straightford "Your patient has just been diagnosed with X, which of these would you expect to assess" Nothing weird or tricky at all, basically what I was used to in school.
