  1. Hello to all...I'm in my last 8 months of finishing my BSN. I'm in the process of working on a research paper...I've decided to do it on men in nursing and figured what better place to find out info than this forum. If anyone would like to share their experiences rather it be positive or negative regarding stereotypes in the work force or gender issues you've encountered...I have read different threads in this forum related to this topic however, any additional info appreciated...thks Frankie
  2. Thanks for the info...nothing against the OR. I myself worked 6 years as a surgical technician with the Navy. I've been out of the OR for a few years working on my BSN...I will be working in ICU after graduation and look forward to completing my masters. Just curious about the different work opions available to CRNA's...Thks again Frankie
  3. Hello to all...possibly thinking about applying to CRNA school in the future. My question is are CRNA's limited strickly to the OR? Thks for any info ;-)

I will be graduating in May 07, with my BSN, looking forward to moving back to the states and finding a nursing internship program with ER or ICU. I'm currently working in a juvenile detention center for some extra pocket change.
  9. Thanks...appreciate the info
  10. Not saying they have a 100% passing rate..just saying they have a great BSN program.
  11. I graduate May 07 with my BSN. I'm curious to know if there are any hospitals out there that hire new grads and place them in training programs such as ER/ICU. I'm very intersted in specializing in one or both of these areas. Any info appreciated...Thks ;-)
