Hello,
I have just started my first nursing job and I love it. The only problem is that some of the staff members wants me out from there. Maby I should describe the situation. I started few months ago just after that I graduated. I work in Sweden and here we have nurses and practical nurses. The nurses are the work leaders and the practical nurses do the practical work. I'm 27 years old but people think that I'm younger. I like people and I'm talkative, I don't boss people around, I rather like to ask politely people to do something. I have noticed that I'm to kinde sometimes. Mostly I like to do as much as possible by my self but if I ask someone to do something I really need them to do it. Now when I ask the practical nurses to do something the get angry. I have also had situations like I ask one practical nurse to give my patient something to eat she goes mad. She even came after me when I was with one other patient and yelled at me that she won't do it!? That is not professional in my opinnion! I know that they are talking behind my back because I have heard that and because I have been told so. I'm not the only one who is feeling bad about these problems at work. Have anyone of had the same situation and haow have you handeled it? I really love my job as a nurse and this makes me sad. I try not to show it and I just do my job but it shouldn't be like this.
Take care you all
Kristiina
