Problems finding a L&D or NICU position Boston

Hello all,

I am a bit at a lost and feeling down. I have graduated nursing school in 2015 in hopes of getting into an L&D position in Massachusetts but fast forward 4 years later almost 5 years now. I still can't get an L&D, NICU, or anything maternity in Massachusetts. I have all my certifications, I've been in long term acute care and acute care med-surg also some pediatrics experience. I am a member of AWHONN and MNA.

It's to the point I am applying out of state just to see if it's just my resume but it isn't because I get calls back and interviews out of state really quick. I can't move far because I just got married this past Summer and my husband can't move. I just feel so defeated and sad. I don't want to give up but I don't know what to do anymore. Everyone in Boston only wants someone with experience but they will hire new grads straight from college. Which I don't understand. They don't have residencies or transitioning programs for experienced RN's.

I just want advice what I should do next to better help me stand out. I'm not sure if I should just go to grad school to try and get a job finally but I'm not sure if that's the best move.
