Problem with letters for SNT

I just got hired as an SNT (student nurse tech). I am excited and was told I would be starting next week. Problem is, I need two letters of recommendation from 2 instructors or I will not be able to start. This wouldn't be a big deal if we weren't on break. I have called instructors and sent emails and I can't get ahold of anyone!! I am a complete loss on what to do and am afraid that I will not be able to start this job. :crying2:

What would you guys do?

If I were you I would just explain to them that everyone is on vacation due to the holidays and let them know that you will get the letters for them as soon as they return. They should understand since they work with students all of the time.

Thanks for the reply. I just went and explained everything and was told it didn't matter, if I don't have BOTH, I can't start.

Guess it just wasn't meant to be.

I guess not:crying2:. You would think that they would be a little more understanding with students. Perhaps we should all gets letters of recommendation from our instructurs for future reference!
