probation question

Hi everyone. I'm a fairly new nurse from California. 10 years ago I got 2 DUI's in the same year. I was Young and dumb and this was before I even thought about being a nurse. Needless to say I was given my license to practice with a 3 yr probation. i got very lucky to find a job just 2 months after being issued my license. It makes the frustration of probation and all its rules and regulations just a little less stressful. Anyways, my question for the firum is has anyone here ever tried to appeal their probation after a year? My monitor told me that was an option. She says she doesn't see it granted much but it does happen. I was wondering if anyone has done this before and was successful. Thanks!

I would love to know as well. I am in CT and had to restart probation after completing 2 of 4 years, due to a alcohol urine. I know it sounds like im dumb for asking to have it stopped but, I NEVER had an alcohol issue, and have been in my 2nd order for 2 years now, without issue. I would love to have this stopped but, unsure that it would ever happen. Let us know.. Good luck

I know in the state of Nevada that is not an option. wish it was!
