Private loans sent directly to the student??

Hello all!

I am looking for private loans to pay for my living expenses while in grad school full time. I haven't been able to find any loans that will cover the costs after tuition that aren't sent directly to the school first. I tried taking out a wellsfargo medcap loan and the school wouldn't certify the loan because it was over their coa limit. The limit is severely low. (not enough to cover even half my rent or any other bills.) I work part time, but also need additional funds to cover the costs. Has anyone heard of any companies that still have these types of loans?? I considered taking out a personal loan, but they must be paid back immediately. I have about 2 years left in grad school, so that's impossible. Thanks in advance!
