What type of pcn, what dose, what concentration? What route? (Egads a 20ga for an IM? I hope you mean IV....and if so, no needless system?)
I'm referring to IM administration. The product comes ready to mix and administrate - 12.000 or 24.000 units. Yes i use a IV needle - 20g - as it is impossible to administrate with a 22g - if i do it, it is certaintly that it will clog.

I've never administered it IM. What type of nursing do you do?
Oh gosh, that's rough. The Bicillin injectible is pretty thick, but a 22 is a safe bet. Just hard to push.
