what are the prerequisites for BSN nursing program @ Medical College of Georgia?

Hey everyone! im new to the site, i currently live in New York but planning on moving to Augusta with my daughter within the next yr or so. im interested in the bsn program at MCG but dont know what the prereqs are. im taking courses at a locally community college and have plans to transfer (obviously lol). any help or tips for bettering my chance to get into the program would be great PLEASE.:)

hey! if you look on the MCG/GHSU site under the nursing BSN program it outlines the prereqs you need. They are only accepting 50 people from now in Augusta and 50 for Athens. I'm currently a junior and I dont know anyone who had less than a 3.4 getting in. They also look at experience!

Do you already have Bachelor's in another field? If so, they also have a pre-licensure MSN program. I'm in the program now, and its VERY accelerated but also very good training. Prereqs for that are also on the site. Here's the link for the College of Nursing: http://www.georgiahealth.edu/son/programs.htm

When you search, make sure to look for Georgia Health Sciences University; we just recently changed our name (everyone I know still says MCG, though, including me!) Good luck!
