Nerves are on edge...I am 31 no kids, no husband, army mp (national guard), useless masters and bachelors and have wanted to be a nurse since I can remember. Not gripe! Blessed with a flexible job and great boyfriend and family...but is there ever a light at the end of the tunnel? I am requesting any info or tips you might for getting through the waiting period and nerves before status letters come. I had a 3.8 in my masters scored a 89.2 on the hesi for Motlow and have the compass next week for lpn program. Scared. How do I pick a prOgram if selected tO more than one? Thank you!

If you already have not only a Bachelor's but a Master's why not go for an accelerated BSN for nursing? Why are you only going for your LPN when you can get a Bachelor's in Nursing for the same amount of time. You should look into these in your area. If your stats from your Mater's degree are any indicator of your student career, you should have no problem getting in.

Accelerated bsn not available...accelerated msn is at Vanderbilt (that was my first application) took Gre for it (ugh) not bad but not great...cost and desire to go ahead and work as a nurse also drive me to apply to an associates program (Motlow /hesi) and the lpn (compass). Waiting period just stinks...lol lpn program starts the soonest too!!! ;) be end of march before I will know anything...thanks!
