First off I want to say I love this website! Everyone here is really helpful answering questions. I hope to someday be able to help others as well.
So my name is Elmer, I am currently attending Nassau Community College in Long Island, NY as a non-degree student looking to get accepted into the nursing program. I am really excited about finally doing this! I don't know what took me so long to make up my mind on what I wanted to do, but I have finally decided to do this and it's never late to accomplish your goals. So since I have previously graduated with a Liberal Arts degree from NCC, I am a little relieved that I only need to focus on a few core courses required for Nursing. I have taken all my pre-requisites for admission which are English 101, Statistics, and Psychology 101. I have done pretty well on those with 2 As and 1 B+. All I have left to do is Anatomy & Physiology I and the TEAS. This is my first time taking the course and I have no idea what to expect. I keep hearing its a very challenging course and I want to be ready for anything. How hard was the course for you? and what study methods did you use to successfully complete it?

Typically if you do A&P integrated, you are required to take it again (A&P II) as integration means less intensive. I actually took Anatomy / Physiology separately but wish I took them together as you learn a lot of things that go together. HOWEVER, they are both time consuming and require a lot of memorization.
I would recommend the Physiology / Anatomy coloring book on Amazon. :)
I'll do whatever it takes to get an A in the class lol. Now I was going through amazon like you said looking for the coloring book and found myself more than one, and I was reading reviews on some of them and people had some bad things to say on some. Is there a particular one that will be on point with all the human anatomy? I just want something with correct information.

My professor, just the other day, gave us a link to a site with some anatomy games, and then someone here on the site also recommended another site to help drill you on anatomy topics.
Tag Anatomy - Test Your Knowledge
Anatomy Drill and Practice
Hope that helps!
