My last semester in nursing school is coming up and I will be signing up for my preceptorship soon. I would like to know why I should choose your hospital to do my preceptorship:) What is it you love about your Atlanta hospital?

Just out of curiosity 2008, what school are you attending? Mine told us that we'd only learn very basic technical skills in our clinicals and to focus on the critical thinking since we'd learn the skills OJT. Boy were they wrong!

My current new grad position is astonished at how little I know skill-wise and as much as they bragged about their new grad orientation, I wish I had gotten it together earlier for my choices of new grad orientations in the local hospitals. I feel inadequate, my hands shake, my stomach is a wreck, and I cry everynight b/c I'm waiting til they tell me I"m just not cutting the mustard.

Hang tight and if youre skills are rocking, you might just own my job!
