withdrawing or risking a grade below a b?

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

I'm currently taking microbiology over the summer at my school and failed my first exam... I'm afraid to fail the second one and risk getting a grade below a B and dropping my overall GPA and science GPA. I've heard that withdrawals look bad when you apply to nursing programs, is that true? Most of the nursing schools that i'm interested in applying to look mostly at your grades and not so much volunteer work and letters of rec.

I completely overestimated how heavy these science courses are over the summer. It is so much content while also taking microbiology lab and statistics... I have crazy anxiety over these classes right now.
