Hi I am in the process of applying to nursing schools after 2 years of general education. I am very interested in becoming a RN in the labor and delivery department after I had my 1st child in July 2004. The reason for this is b/c the nurse was magnificant, she knew what I needed without me even saying a word. She even corrected my doctor's error when he placed a fetal scalp monitor in my son's rear end!! She also helped me lady partslly deliver a butt first baby while my doctor was so busy trying to make sure he looked good. I will never forget her and I want my future patients to feel the same about me (kinda corny huh) But anyways my question is what are your favorite things involving being a nurse in L&D?:angel2:
