Science is the smallest section so make sure your reading comprehension and grammar are good. The exam is weeding out who can extract info from the text and who tests well on standardized in general. I just got in my program. Last year I did not. I raised my Kaplan 9! Points and earned my spot. I'm not a 4.0 student either btw.
I didn't wake up super early to cram

Go to nursing entrance exams.
I faced my math demons (with website) and learned the rationales of word problems
I only missed 2 math problems and I have failed statistics numerous times in the past. I looked at Tons of YouTube vids, Am I smart enough? Am I too old?
Basically psyched myself to believe.
I envisioned my score. I pictured how proud I would be this time around and it all happened for me. Just my experience
Got my score back and got an 80%.. Although Im not sure 100% I think I did well. Math was my strong point.
Reading- 82%
Math- 96%
Writing- 76%
Science- 60%
Critical thinking- 69%
Any idea what are good average or bad scores? I haven't really heard much on a scale for this specific exam!
Thanks for the help!
I wouldn't say those are bad scores. How many do they take? Critical thinking takes 4 random questions from each section. Remember the dosage question about whether the nurse has enough medicine? Or whether asthma is more mucus or bronchial constriction? You have to have done well in ap to get those right.

Hey guys, I recently just applied to nursing school this past Thursday and the program I am going into accepts students based of a point system. A good amount of the points can be earned through the Kaplan exam. I was wondering if anyone had some advice on pre-exam advice in regards on what to study or materials to prepare with as well as during the exam! Thank you!
