Pre-entrance interview

Published

So I had my pre-entrance panel interview for the LPN program and I wanted to share some of the questions that I was asked. The who.e interview lasted about 15 minutes. I sat in front of the 5 people and I had to show them that I am a perfect fit for their program:) hopefully I did. The panel was so nice and friendly that it is hard to tell how the interview went. I will find out within 2 weeks, meanwhile I hope this post will help at least one person. So the questions were:

1 Why do you want to become an LPN?

2 Why did you choose our school?

3 Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

4 Do you have a reliable transportation?

5 Are you proficient in computer sskills ?

6 Do you have a back up plan in case the daycare that you child goes to is closed?

7 do you carry any current certifications such as CNA...?

They also ask you to write a short essay in which you need to describe how you would handle particular situation. For instance: What would you do if your patient refuses to take his medication?

Good luck everyone
