Pre-employment tests for Job interview

U.S.A. New York

Published

I have an interview coming up and I am a new RN. There is a pre-employment test prior to the interview that will consist of med/surg rx's and math. Is there any materials I could use to study for this? There are so many perscriptions that I am not sure what ones to know for this test.

I will suggest you take out your pharm book and study: drip calculations, conversions ie. 1oz=30cc etc, common drugs ie. lasix, digoxin, etc.

Some hospitals make you take the test before the interview and if you don't pass it they will not interview you.

Where and when are you interviewing?

I will be interviewing at a local hospital in Buffalo. My pharmacology book covers alot of detail and does not have common drugs only.
