I saw that article today and it sort of confused me. Is the CDC saying the screening for Hep C is MANDATORY or just "recommended". If medicare isn't reimbursing for this, in addition to no money for the serum ALT tests the CDC recommends it is little wonder centers are not testing for Hep C and patients are left undiagnosed.
