Hello everyone! I am creating this forum early for the Pomona Valley Medical Center for the Spring residency RN new grad (starting on March 24, 2025) for any updates!

Besides cover letter/ resume what else? Also have u applied to this hospital before?

I have not applied here before, but I have just been uploading everything to all my applications. I usually do a Cover Letter, Resume, References, 2 Letters of recommendation, I have my TNCC, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI, and I am taking my CEN exam on 1/15...

I don't know how I have only got 1 interview from about 30 applications so we will see if it gets me anywhere here haha I am going to put ER and ICU for my top units.

OMG only 1? SoCal new grad is no joke 😭 let's hope we both get it!! I'm really aiming for LDRP as my 1st and ER as my 2nd🥹

I mean it has been the holidays and I applied a lot in December so maybe theyre all going to come at once in a week or so haha. I am starting at a small community hospital tomorrow in the mean time, but the programs are seriously so difficult. I feel like someone needs to make a business of of new grads to find programs and make them more competitive haha id have paid for that service.

Oh yea same! I applied to a few also in December and hopefully in Jan they will get back to us!
