Hello I am unfamiliar with the Lonestar college system and any other system that uses "points." can anybody explain to me exactly what the points are and how you obtain each one- I would like to see how I would stack up :)

I copied this from the Lonestar-North Harris website, but pretty much All campuses have the same point system, they just accept different number of students.
Selection Criteria
Beginning ADN students are admitted every August. Usually, there are more applicants who meet the admission criteria than space will allow. Out of the12 points possible, applicants will be ranked by their total points for acceptance into the program. The students with the top 100 scores will be offered admission. This ranking for placement will be based on:
