PNP's in Louisiana...what are your clinic hours

I will be starting a PNP program and altough I know this is looking really far ahead, I wanting some input on how long your days are in the clinics. The clinics around here are typically open 8-5 with the latest appointment around 4:30. Is this typical? If so, what time does that usually put you leaving the office? I am asking because I have two small children and am trying to get an idea of how demanding time wise a clinic setting is. Also, if you have any input on how many days a week you work and salary in Louisiana that would be great too. Thank you so much for your input.
