Hey, I haven't seen any forums of people who applied/are applying to any Fall 2024 PMHNP programs in Georgia. I see Georgia State's deadline is February 1st (BSN-MSN) meanwhile Augusta's (BSN-DNP) deadline is in April. Has anyone heard of anything about these programs from like other students?

I applied to Georgia State's PMHNP program for Fall 2024, and got my application in right before the deadline so still waiting on a decision. A coworker of mine went there and she liked the program her issue was getting all her hours in she was finishing during COVID so that caused some issues at that time. I also think the school would help with finding a preceptor if needed but in the end, I think she had to find al her preceptors by herself.

I also think they extended the deadline to July (maybe a lot of people didn't apply). If the program is expected to start August/September, I wonder how soon potential students would be notified if they got accepted. I sent my application late December.

Wow did realize they extended the deadline. I wish the website would show where they are in the process of review. Hopefully, we hear something soon. I am waiting on two other schools as well.

They recently interviewed me but have not heard back any definite answer. I have to accept or decline another college this week so makes a tough decision. Has anyone else heard back?

Has anyone heard the pros and cons of Ga Southern or GA College PMHNP program?

I got interviewed last week, & haven't heard anything either. I only applied to two programs, & one already accepted me. GSU is cheaper, yet I have to make a decision about the other school quickly. I had two coworkers; the one that is currently going to Southern enjoys the program, & the one that graduated from GA college said her experience was difficult plus looked extremely stressed every time I saw her. Those observations are extremely subjective because they both have vastly different personalities on how they handle their workloads.
