I am a nursing student working at a children hospital in Atl GA, I cant take it in GA anymore and would like to start planning on moving back home, I figure it would take me 6 months to 1 year to do so, and since I am only working on my pre reqs right now I figure this would be a good time to look at schools and hospital to work as a tech while attending nursing school.

How hard is it to find a job in NY at one of the hospitals as a tech? and how hard is it to get into a nursing school program?

I want to move really, really bad and figured in 6 months to a year I should be so ready, do you think the job market for me will take this long?

And what schools are good to apply to ? I am looking for a two year program and will go back for my BSN

I was also thinking about a LPN program here in ATL and then I will take the online exclesior program in NY for the RN - I wanted to do that here in GA but the GA BON just stop the program in the midist of people trying to apply :angryfire (that is GA for yay)

Also what is the average salary for a tech in the hospital there? I asked because I need to work and want to have a good stable budget to set
