Please Refresh My Memory

I have an interview with a home health agency on Friday for a scheduler position. I haven't done visits for about 3 years and need a refresher on how to read the nurse visit frequency abbreviations. For example, if this is written: 1D1, 2W3, 1W5, I'm thinking it means the patient needs visits once a day for 1 week, then twice a week for 3 weeks, then once a week for 5 weeks. Am I correct or totally wrong?

Anybody?

1d1, means 1 time a day for 1 day

2wk5, means 2 times a week for 5 weeks

Thank you! I wondered if I had that 1D1 right or not. Once a day for one day didn't seem to make sense to me because everything was written in that order for the same patient. Well, I was half right.

Brita.. on our sheets if we have a DAILY visit it is written as QD 10, or 14, or however many days a daily visit is neccessary, then goes on to 3wk1, then 2wk2, then 1wk4 thru cert period.

The way I made myself remember it was to make myself say "TIMES A" after the first number before the week, then AFTER the week I make myself say "FOR" 1, or 2, or 3 weeks, whichever it is. It was VERY confusing to me until I figured out the best way to word it in my head. :uhoh3:
