So here is the deal...I am applying for nursing school to begin in January at Brookhaven. My question is this I just got into some legal trouble a few weeks ago and was arrested and charged but not yet convicted of two separate things. One was a felony and the other one a misdemeanor. The felony will probably go away in a month or so but the other one will probably hang on till March or so without any resolution. My question is this...Do I go ahead and send the declarations page to Austin now? It says they will be checking criminal background ion January before clinical rotations...Am I screwed? Is this going to keep me outta school? Has anyone ever dealt with this kinda thing before?
Just so yal don"t think the worst, the story is this...With the same guy for 1.5yrs ( an orthopedic surgeon), go to his house one night, girl answers door in just a t-shirt, trys to slam the door on me and i end up breaking the door frame and once inside a fight ensues. I got charged with Burglary of a habitaion (felony), and an assault. The felony will more than likely get dropped as I am still with the guy and he is testifing on my behalf.
