Platt college-Lawton Campus

Published

Hello. I am wondering if I can get some feedback on the LPN program at the Platt college in Lawton, OK. I have heard mixed reviews about this and just really need to get the ball rolling in my career. The most that is talked about is the price. It is roughly 26,000 dollars for the program which I know is incredibly high. Although all you have to worry about is a pen and paper and they cover everything else. There is only one other school here that has an LPN program and it is very, very competitive. I have a friend who tried to get in for 3 years and was never accepted. I am very dedicated and it seems like the only people who don't finish the class is because they are not committed to the course. Thanks for your time and any feedback is helpful.

I realize this is a few months probably too late, but the other school, Great Plains, it is very competitive. BUT it is the best option to go with. They prepare you to pass your NCLEX and help you to be prepared to start working after passing. I do not know much about PLATT except that many do not pass the NCLEX. I would skip out on a huge money pit loan that will cost you more than getting your RN. If you go to Vo-tech they will help you get the points you need to get accepted. We had one girl right out of high school in our program.
