Starting this thread for the new grad  RN program at PIH Good Samaritan. I know applications are still open, but if anyone has any updates 🙂

Thank you! I was able to turn in my application yesterday. I called HR and they said to expect the follow-up form (that asks what floor/unit you prefer & the shift preferences) within 1-2 weeks from the day you submitted the application. So regularly check your email. 
 

Have you received that form/questionnaire yet?

Can you guys let us know if you get that form? I applied 1 week ago and did not receive anything. Also, is there a way to log in to see the update on the application? I only receive email like this.

Mine looks exactly like this, just the "date applied" is different. This, from my knowledge, is the only way to see an update on your application.
 

When I called, the person I spoke to from HR said that the status is "active" because the application for the RN New Grad position is still open, they haven't closed it yet on their website. But from their end, they can see you have fully completed the application. Give it another week to hear back from them. The girl said it takes about 1-2 weeks for you to receive another email from them. And that if you don't receive anything after the 2nd week, to call HR back

For Good Samaritan, you need to call the central line under PIH Health Whittier.

PIH Health Whittier HR Department: (562) 698-0811, and then use this extension number (Ext. 12483). When you're on the phone with them, just make sure you let let know your application was for Good Samaritan

Just got this email as well! Glad we didn't have to wait too long for it.
