Picking myself up .

HELP! I've been out of nursing for while. I had twins about seven years ago and came down with PPD. I was stealing pain meds at the hospital where i worked and got caught. They sent me to rehab, which i completed, and offered me my job back. I didn't accept because i was very ashamed of my past. My girls have been in school for a while now and i feel i have the confidence to return to nursing. I got my RN in GA reinstated with the only provision, I can't work in private homes. I'm having such a hard time finding anybody to give me a second chance. Any information or suggestions will help.

    What about the hospital you worked at before? Can't you ask them to give you a second chance or do you never want to work there anymore?
