Physics on TEAS V??

Published

Hi all,

How much physics is there on the TEAS V? I have been hearing some people say that there are physics and some say that there is not any physics on the exam. So my question is, with your experience with the test, was there a lot of physics? If so, will the information within the ATI book be sufficient? Or do I need to look elsewhere? I just need a straight answer. All responses are appreciated, and thank you in advance! :)

None on my test! If it is it will be very basic. Know potential vs kinetic.

I agree with Dam239, that you might see kinetic and potential energy types of questions. Everything needed is in the ATI manual including these energy equations. If you are concerned about more difficult questions like coefficient of friction, box sliding down a ramp, and vectors- no I don't think you need to worry about these.

Thank you LoyalWeim for your answer! I was just concerned because I saw ALOT of physics questions within the McGraw-Hill TEAS practice test book. That's one less thing I need to worry about. :)

Thank you for your response! Phew, what a relief. One less thing to worry about! :)

Jessica92,

For the sake of ensuring that I do not unintentionally mislead folks, would you mind private messaging me the problems in the McGraw-Hill that you are referring? I would like to double-check. I have the McGraw-Hill and took all the practice exams and I do not recall seeing any of the physics types of questions that you fear, so I would like to double-check this.

Thanks!

LW
