Phlebotomy

Hi all,

I am in Florida and I am trying to register for phlebotomy classes on a short course (8 weeks)

I have read so many negative posts about not been able to find a job that makes me not do it.

Can someone guide me thru it.

Thank you

I'm in Georgia so I can't speak for Florida. Here its hard to find jobs without experience unless you can work night shift in a large hospital.

Hopefully somebody else from Florida will respond and help you. If it won't hurt you financially I'd do it. They don't teach phlebotomy in nursing school. They expect you to learn on the job. My theory is it will make you feel comfortable but it's up to you.
