I haven't even started school yet but here is my go at your questions:
1. Vitamin D : Skin exposed to sunshine synthesizes this vitamin.
Vitamin K: Bacteria in intestines produces vitamin K.
2. Too much iron in the body causes the stool to appear black.
3. Hypotonic : Having an osmolarity less than normal body fluids. examples being: .45% NaCl, 2.5 Dextrose 0.25 NaCl
4. Hypertonic: Having an osmolarity greater than normal body fluids.
examples being: D5 NaCl, D5 in Lactated Ringer's, D5 0.45 NaCl
Wasn't too hard for me to find the above information. I just looked it up in my texts.
Good luck.
I have a test later today and cannot find the answers in my text for these ?'s. TIA!!!1. What 2 vitamins are synthesized by the body?
2. Fe supplements may cause what color of BM? I think this one is black but not 100%.
3. Give examples for hypotonic and hypertonic IV solutions.
THANKS A MILLION!!!
