Per diem while in the Military?

Hey everyone! Its my first time posting on here, and I'm still figuring out the format. I apologize if this has been covered before...

I was wondering if it is possible to work PRN jobs off base/post while serving in the military? Mostly it would be a few shifts a month to supplement the income a bit. I will be graduating in December and taking NCLEX in early January. I'm really hoping to get into the Navy or Air Force, but we'll see how it all turns out. Any information is appreciated!
